The Case
CosmosSport, a member of the JD Group and the largest sports retail group in Greece and Cyprus, operates in one of the most competitive environments in modern retail.
With more than 80 physical stores, a strong eCommerce presence and a clear sport-driven identity, the group was faced with a new challenge: the entry of major non-European digital retailers that reshaped the dynamics of online competition.
In collaboration with Sleed, the goal was not simply to adapt to market changes, but to leverage them as a catalyst for strategic evolution.
The Challenge
The entry of players such as Temu and Shein into the European market created an environment of intense competition:
- Price pressure due to low-cost and dropshipping business models
